Rule Number 5
Plan your attack. Measure things accurately, including doors, couches, etc. If you need to, remove doors from their hinges. If you managed to get something inside then there’s always going to be a way to get it outside - without taking the roof off your house.
Rule Number 6
Evaluate your moving options objectively. It’s best to make decisions about how you are going to move large objects before moving. People don’t always have the clearest of heads after spending the best part of the day moving things. You may also need to work out what things may not fit into your new living quarters. If you need to, storage is an option if you can’t fit it into your new apartment.
